Personal details

Rui Huang studied Applied Chemistry at Harbin Institute of Technology in China (2016-2020). She obtained the degree of Master of Natural Science in Chemistry and Physics of Polymers at Fudan University in Shanghai (2020-2023). In her Master’s thesis, she focused on the topic of The anodic Ir-based electrocatalysts for the PEM water electrolysis: development and mechanism studies under operating conditions at the State Key Laboratory of Molecular Engineering of Polymers in Fudan University. After graduation, she came to the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) where she is now a PhD student with Prof. Dr. Jan-Dierk Grunwaldt at the Institute of Catalysis Research and Technology (IKFT) since 2023. She studies in the group of Energy-related Catalysis and her main research areas are the electrocatalysis and operando measurements.
