Ecrin Ekici pursued her undergraduate studies in chemical engineering at Ankara University in Turkey from 2017 to 2020. Following this, she obtained her MSc degree from Izmir Institute of Technology between 2020 and 2023, focusing on optimizing pyrolysis processes for solid waste, such as plastic and biomass. Her academic journey led her to commence on a PhD program starting in August 2023, joining the "Characterisation and Conditioning of Pyrolysis Products" group at the Institute of Catalysis Research and Technology. Her current research centers on enhancing bio-oil to create marine fuels.
