IKFT Contributions to DGMK Event on Hydrogen and Syngas

The DGMK event Hydrogen and Syngas - Platform for a sustainable future was jointly organized by the DGMK Divisions "Petrochemistry" and "Conversion of Carbon Carriers", the Division of Industrial Chemistry of the Società Chimica Italiana (SCI) and the ÖGEW Österreichische Gesellschaft für Energiewissenschaften. The event took place in Essen from 28-29 October 2026 and featured one oral presentation on catalyst and reactor development for the liquid organic hydrogen carrier technology (Elisabeth Herzinger) and on talk on tableting of a methanol synthesis catalyst (Fabian Neumann). In addition, a poster presentation by Tegiton Simson Sicila Mary concluded his successful Master’s thesis project at IKFT, which was jointly supervised by TT-Prof. Dr. Moritz Wolf  and Dr. Johanna Schröder as part of their YIN Grant.
