Gia Trung Hoang studied chemistry at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT). Since April 2025, he has been a Ph.D. student in the department "Catalysts and processes for fuels and chemicals" at the Institute for Catalysis Research and Technology (IKFT). His research focuses on shaping and testing of zeolite catalysts for synthesizing low-aromatic hydrocarbon mixtures from dimethyl ether.
