Personal details

Anke Krutof received her B. Sc. in process engineering and her M. Sc. in chemical engineering from Mannheim University of Applied Sciences, Germany. After visiting Memorial University for her master's thesis she returned to St. John’s, Canada to continue her education in the field of renewable fuels. During her PhD work she focused on the optimization of the pyrolysis process for the production of liquid fuels from wood waste. In September 2019, Dr. Krutof joined the fast pyrolysis research at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology. Her focus at KIT is on the thermodynamic modelling of fast pyrolysis bio-oil.
